MGPS Design, Drawings & Specification Requirements
To meet MGPS project objectives, thorough planning is required and it is therefore imperative to gather sufficiently detailed information at the start of the design process. We will work collaboratively with the relevant stakeholders to catalogue clear guidance in terms of the purpose and the scale of project, the required standard and interpreting the department designations.
Drawing Services
Up-to-date drawings and records are required to be able to manage your MGPS safely and efficiently, especially during shutdowns and emergencies.
MGPS Drawings will be completed using industry standard blocks and symbols, contain the required details, be suitably layered and where required valves will be renumbered into one style and a complete valve log produced. Traffolyte style engraved labelling can be fixed to every AVSU if required.
We can provide some or all of the following to enhance and complete your drawings:
Review of Site survey using the Site Plan and production of As-Fitted Drawings
Produce Schematic Drawings
Produce Isometric Drawings, Flow and Pressure drops
Apply “Traffolyte” engraved labelling to each AVSU and accessible line valve and compile a valve log
Design & Specifications
We provide validation of design services to ensure your system meets all the relevant standards and clinical needs. This can include some or all, but is not limited to the following:
Review of Site survey using the Site Plan for siting of Cryogenic Plant or new Plant
Review of Site survey using the Site Plan for Compound, Plant and Manifold room requirements
MGPS flow calculations and pipe sizing
Source equipment sizing and specification
Main, Ready to use and Local cylinder storage
Installations and maintenance requirements
Procurement & Equipment Supplies
We work closely with established internationally renowned stakeholders in the Healthcare Industry to source and procure quality MGPS equipment.
It may just be a one-off purchase or the ongoing supply of goods from our range of reputable suppliers. As part of our simplified procurement process, we will:
Engage with clients to ascertain MGPS Equipment requirements
Source MGPS Equipment based on client requirements
Provide Simplified Payment Solutions
Complete Procurement of MGPS Equipment
Conduct Pre shipment Inspection of MGPS Equipment
Provide status update information at each stage of the procurement lifecycle
Facilitate clearance of goods at destination Port for onward delivery if required
Spare Parts
We supply Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) spare parts for industry leading manufacturers in the UK ranging from major plant and manifold spares, to terminal unit service kits. Our team of dedicated specialists work in collaboration with our clients to ensure the correct parts are identified and the best parts are delivered safely and on schedule.
Remote MGPS Services
Our Remote MGPS Service is designed to empower you to manage your own healthcare facility and be as self-sufficient as possible keeping your overheads down.
Items covered in our Remote MGPS Service include:
Hold duplicate site documentation relating to the Medical Gas Pipeline System
Train up some of your staff to manage and issue “Low Hazard” permits to your medical gas maintenance contractor
Be available to contact regarding specific system issues via video conferencing, telephone or e-mail in accordance to specified SLA’s
Essential Maintenance & Preventative Maintenance Service
We will develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and clear protocols which clearly delineate roles and responsibilities of all involved MGPS Stakeholders to support the effectiveness of the MGPS. We will collaborate with your Healthcare Facility to facilitate the adherence of and implementation of the appropriate Planned Preventative Maintenance programs.
SOPs for biomedical engineering personnel relating to equipment management and maintenance will also be developed and managers will be tasked to monitor process quality and to optimize it as needed.
Furthermore, manuals and protocols on the use and maintenance of medical gas equipment will be made available within the Healthcare facilities, including those unique to products. Readily available expert technical assistance will be made available to support facilities with more complex repairs and will work to pre-approved SLA’s. The enhancement of these protocols will help to avoid long delays relating to maintenance.
Health Information Systems
Uninterrupted supply of medical gases at service delivery points is paramount for the safe operation of Healthcare Facilities. Our effective and sustainable supply chain system for medical gases ensures that the demand for medical gases does not supersede available supply by maintaining the procurement of adequate and appropriate quantities. We will achieve this by implementing data driven quantification of needs thereby eliminating supply stock-outs, administrative bureaucracies and supplier unreliability.
We implement protocols to strengthen distribution systems of medical gases within facilities by clearly delineating actions and responsibilities within the SOPs to provide clear arrangements guiding the movement and transportation of filled or empty cylinders.
Our MGPS systems rely on an effective Logistics Management Information System (LMIS), including an automated inventory control and strong supply chain system.
For Cryogenic Equipment and Supply Vessels, a user friendly state of the art telemetry system that allows real time monitoring of liquid levels can be configured to user specific requirements. The telemetry system is connected to the vessel contents gauge and provides remote access to up to date information on demand or at pre-defined times and will also give instant notification when the vessel contents reach a pre-agreed level to consequently trigger delivery systems.
Services offered in our Health Information Systems include:
Automation of Medical Gas Supplies (Supply Logistics and Coordination)
Logistics Management Information System (LMIS)
Telemetry Remote Monitoring to facilitate real-time monitoring of liquid levels
